We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in Svalbard. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer payments and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Scan items and ensure accurate pricing
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Follow all cash handling procedures and policies
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Strong math skills and attention to detail required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of basic computer systems
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
