Heavy Equipment Operator



We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in La Condamine. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duties will include safely and efficiently operating equipment to complete assigned tasks, performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, and following all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Read and interpret blueprints or instructions to determine the work requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as oil changes, greasing, and inspections to ensure proper functioning.
- Complete daily logs of machine usage, maintenance performed, and any issues encountered.
- Follow all safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Communicate with supervisors or other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of different types of heavy equipment and their functions.
- Ability to read blueprints or instructions for specific tasks.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
