Are you an experienced Indian Executive Chef looking for a seasonal job in Nairobi, Kenya? We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team at a prestigious hotel. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing traditional Indian dishes with a modern twist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop innovative Indian dishes to be featured on the menu
- Oversee the kitchen staff and ensure food quality and presentation meets high standards
- Manage inventory and control costs to maintain profitability
- Train and mentor junior chefs in traditional Indian cooking techniques
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end Indian restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
