Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will play a crucial role in preserving historical and cultural landmarks in the city of La-Condamine. Your main responsibility will be to develop and implement plans for the restoration and conservation of these buildings, ensuring their structural integrity and longevity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings to identify potential preservation needs
- Collaborate with other professionals such as historians, engineers, and construction workers to develop preservation plans
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for restoration projects
- Source and select appropriate materials for restoration work, considering their historical significance and sustainability
- Oversee construction work to ensure it adheres to preservation standards
- Regularly monitor the condition of restored buildings to identify any maintenance needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field, with a specialization in historic preservation preferred
- Proven experience in preservation work, with a strong understanding of architectural history and building codes
- Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Attention to detail and ability to think creatively when faced with challenges during restoration projects
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various professionals

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this position.
