Teamlead - Project Management


We are in search of a highly organized and motivated Teamlead to join our Project Management team in Washington, D.C. As a Teamlead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of project managers and ensuring successful completion of projects within budget and timeline. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive experience in project management.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members
- Monitor progress of projects and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct performance evaluations for team members
- Mentor and coach team members to improve performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of projects

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in project management role, preferably in a leadership position
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using project management software
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
- PMP certification is preferred

Salary: $1500/month with accommodation provided.
