Pastry Chef
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods. This role requires a high level of creativity and attention to detail in order to produce visually appealing and delicious desserts. The Pastry Chef will also be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate should have experience in a professional kitchen, strong knowledge of pastry techniques, and the ability to work well under pressure. This role is located in Herzliya, Israel and preference will be given to Indian candidates who are fluent in English.
The main responsibilities of the Pastry Chef include but are not limited to:
- Creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods
- Developing new dessert recipes while also maintaining traditional favorites
- Ensuring all desserts are prepared in a timely manner
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Training and supervising junior pastry staff members
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques including baking, decorating, and plating
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dessert recipes
- Attention to detail with an eye for presentation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Preference will be given to Indian candidates
Salary: $1400 per month
