IT Support Assistant - Filipinos preferred (Contract)


We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy IT Support Assistant to join our team in Akron on a contract basis. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for Filipinos looking to gain experience in the IT field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate complex problems to senior technicians
- Install and configure computer systems, networks, printers, and other hardware
- Maintain accurate records of all support tickets and resolutions
- Train clients on how to use new equipment or software
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (Filipino language skills are a plus)
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP) and basic troubleshooting techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical information in simple terms

Salary:
Starting salary for this contract position is 1600$ per month.
