Job Title: Freelance Interpreter in Braga


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team in Braga on a contract basis. As a Freelance Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing language interpretation services for various clients in different settings such as meetings, conferences, and events. Your role will involve facilitating communication between parties who speak different languages and ensuring accurate and culturally sensitive communication.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality interpretation services in person or via phone or video conferencing
- Interpret accurately and effectively between two or more languages, maintaining the tone and style of the original speaker
- Act as a cultural liaison, promoting understanding and sensitivity between parties from different cultural backgrounds
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Prepare for assignments by researching terminology and relevant subject matter
- Communicate any issues or concerns with clients to ensure smooth interpretation process

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an interpreter in a professional setting
- Excellent command of at least two languages, including proficiency in both oral and written communication
- Strong knowledge of cultural norms and customs
- Ability to adapt to various situations and environments with professionalism
- Flexibility to work on a contract basis with varying hours depending on assignments
- Valid work permit/visa for working in Braga (sponsorship available)
