Junior Information Security Analyst



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Lisbon. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will assist in implementing and maintaining the security protocols and procedures for our company. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining information security policies and procedures
- Monitor network activity for any potential security breaches
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Identify potential security risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and industry best practices
- Assist in creating training materials and conducting training sessions for employees on information security awareness
- Investigate any reported security incidents and provide timely resolution

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to learn new technologies and keep up with industry developments

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience or internship in information security or related field
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
