Head Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team at our renowned Indian restaurant in Clairvaux. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the menu, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
Responsibilities:
- Create authentic and innovative Indian dishes, ensuring they are prepared to the highest standard
- Design menus that reflect the unique flavors and traditions of Indian cuisine
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in quality and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet demand
- Collaborate with management team on budgeting, cost control, and menu planning
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine including regional variations and latest trends
- Ability to create unique dishes while also maintaining traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid work permit for Clairvaux (visa sponsorship available)
-Salary: $1500/month (negotiable based on experience)
