Network and Systems Administrator

Our IT company in Ashdod is seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network and systems to ensure their efficient and secure operation. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any connectivity or performance issues
- Implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats
- Manage user accounts and permissions on servers and systems
- Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans
- Provide technical support to end-users for any network or system-related issues
- Stay updated with new technologies and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
- Experience with network security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), etc.
- Proficiency in Windows Server environment, including Active Directory management
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Preferred:
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSE or equivalent
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems
-Speaks English fluently; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
