Computer Support Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of various operating systems, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$ per month. We also provide free visa and ticket for international candidates. This is an urgent position that requires immediate availability.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions
- Install and configure computer systems and networks
- Maintain security updates on all devices
- Perform regular system maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient operations
- Document all support activities for future reference
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry advancements

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various operating systems including Windows, MacOS, Linux/Unix
- Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
