Preservation Architect (Contract)
Location: Oslo, Norway


We are in need of a Preservation Architect to work on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your role will involve conducting site visits, documenting conditions, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 3 years experience working on historic preservation projects
- Knowledge of preservation techniques, materials, and regulations
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and document existing features
- Develop preservation plans that meet both aesthetic and structural requirements
- Work closely with contractors to oversee restoration projects
- Ensure all work meets historic preservation standards and regulations
- Provide technical expertise on materials, methods, and techniques for preservation projects

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.
