Moderator for Online Community


Our online community is seeking a skilled Moderator to join our team in Svalbard. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality of content and interactions within our online platform. This role is ideally suited for someone with experience in community management, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive or controversial topics.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content to ensure it adheres to community guidelines and standards
- Engage with users to foster a positive and inclusive community environment
- Respond to user inquiries and escalate any issues or concerns as needed
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for community growth and engagement
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in online community management
- Identify potential issues or conflicts within the community and take appropriate action to address them

Requirements:
- Previous experience moderating online communities or social media platforms preferred
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive topics with empathy and professionalism
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly when necessary
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
- Must have own visa that allows for employment in Svalbard

Working Conditions:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1000$ per month. The role is open to all genders. As our platform operates 24/7, some flexibility in working hours may be required.
