Indian Accountant in Nizwa, Oman


We are urgently looking for an experienced Indian Accountant to join our team in Nizwa, Oman on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. As an Indian Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for our company
- Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for cost saving
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Handle payroll processing and employee benefits administration
- Manage bank reconciliations and oversee budgeting process
- Analyze financial data to provide insights to the management team
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure accurate reporting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations in Oman
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (Tally preferred)
- Experience working with Indian companies or clients is highly desirable
