Full-Stack Web Developer


We are hiring a skilled Full-Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic and growing team in Svalbard. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly web applications that meet our clients' needs. You should have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as experience working with various programming languages and frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to create innovative web applications
- Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code using modern programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python
- Develop front-end interfaces using popular frameworks like React or Angular
- Implement back-end functionality using technologies like Node.js or Django
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness for all web applications
- Write thorough documentation for all developed code
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the development process
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development to enhance team knowledge and improve processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Proficient in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Angular
- Strong understanding of back-end development using Node.js or Django
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard. While we strongly prefer candidates who are already based here, we are open to discussing relocation options for the right candidate.
