Concrete Worker



As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing various structures made of concrete. Your primary duties will include mixing, pouring, and smoothing concrete to create foundations, walls, and other structures according to blueprints and specifications. This position will be based in Fonvieille and does not provide accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare worksites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and other necessary equipment
- Read blueprints to determine the layout and dimensions of the structure
- Mix concrete using various tools such as cement mixers or wheelbarrows
- Pour concrete into forms or molds and smooth it using trowels or other hand tools
- Install reinforcing materials such as steel bars or wire mesh to strengthen the concrete
- Monitor curing process to ensure proper drying and hardening of the concrete
- Repair damaged structures by removing old concrete and replacing it with new material
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with concrete in a construction environment
- Knowledge of different types of concrete mixtures and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Owns valid visa/work permit for employment in Fonvieille

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.
