Software Tester



The role of Software Tester at our company in La-Condamine requires a detail-oriented and experienced individual to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. As a tester, you will be responsible for identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting any issues or bugs within the software.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and executing test plans and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of the software
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects or issues found during testing
- Collaborating with developers to resolve any issues and retesting to ensure proper resolution
- Conducting regression testing to ensure new features do not cause existing functionalities to fail
- Performing exploratory testing to uncover potential areas of improvement in the software
- Providing timely feedback on any critical issues that may impact the release timeline
- Assisting in creating and maintaining testing environments for different platforms and configurations

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a software tester or in a similar quality assurance role
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
- Familiarity with various testing techniques such as black box, white box, and regression testing
- Proficient in using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively report issues found during testing

Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of coding languages such as Java or Python for writing automated tests
- Experience with mobile app testing on different devices
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
