Handyman - Maintenance and Repairs Specialist



Are you a skilled handyman with experience in maintenance and repairs? Do you have a knack for fixing things and solving problems? We are seeking a Handyman who is able to handle a variety of tasks related to maintaining and repairing buildings, equipment, and facilities. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for ensuring that our premises are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical work
- Inspect buildings and identify any issues or repairs needed
- Repair or replace damaged equipment or fixtures
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with HVAC systems
- Conduct routine inspections of fire alarms, smoke detectors, and other safety systems
- Keep track of inventory for necessary supplies and tools
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects
- Follow safety procedures when working with hazardous materials or equipment
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed
- Familiarity with safety procedures when handling hazardous materials or equipment
- Good communication skills in English
- Must be able to provide own tools
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary
