Florists are skilled professionals who specialize in creating beautiful arrangements with flowers and other plants. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, arranging and selling a variety of floral creations for different occasions such as weddings, birthdays, funerals and other events. We are seeking a talented and creative florist to join our team in Malindi, Kenya.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and arranging floral displays according to customer preferences and budget
- Selecting appropriate flowers, greenery and materials for each arrangement
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of fresh flowers, plants and supplies
- Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with their floral needs
- Managing the daily operation of the flower shop including cleaning, organizing and pricing products
- Creating promotional displays to attract customers
- Offering suggestions for event themes and décor using flowers and plants
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate records of sales

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a florist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants and their care requirements
- Creativity in designing unique floral arrangements that meet customers' needs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time while arranging flowers or working at the shop counter

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Contract job:
This is a contract job with flexible working hours. However, you may be required to work on weekends or holidays depending on business needs.

Accommodation:
This position does not come with accommodation. Candidates should have their own housing arrangements in Malindi.
