Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team in Bayan. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of sweet and savory Indian-inspired desserts, pastries, and baked goods. You must have a strong understanding of traditional Indian flavors, techniques, and ingredients in order to create unique and delicious dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop recipes for Indian-inspired desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
- Prepare all pastry items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure high quality of ingredients used in all pastry preparations.
- Consistently maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen.
- Collaborate with other chefs to plan menus for special events or themed nights.
- Train junior staff members on proper techniques and recipes.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in an upscale restaurant or hotel specializing in Indian cuisine.
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian flavors, techniques, and ingredients.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique pastry dishes that reflect the essence of Indian cuisine.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Diploma or degree from a culinary institute is preferred but not required.
Salary: $1000 per month
