Slinger - Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Slinger to join our dynamic team in Bungoma. As a Slinger, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment, including cranes and forklifts, to move and position materials on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently
- Move materials and equipment around construction sites as directed
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy machinery, preferably as a Slinger or similar role
- Valid certification for operating cranes and forklifts
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols and regulations

Salary: $1800/month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position, but we also have part-time opportunities available for those seeking flexible hours. This role does not include accommodation, so we are looking for local candidates or those with their own visa.
