Our construction company in Funchal, Portugal is seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and chimneys using various types of materials including bricks, concrete blocks, and stones.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan layout and construction of masonry structures
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific requirements
- Mix mortar or grout to desired consistency
- Lay bricks or other masonry units according to specifications
- Use hand tools such as trowels, levels, and hammers to shape and smooth surfaces
- Align structures with plumb lines or other reference points
- Finish surfaces by applying sealants or waterproof coatings
- Repair existing masonry structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications
- Proficient in using hand tools for masonry work
- Knowledge of different types of materials used in masonry work
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month. Accommodation will also be provided.
