Architectural Designer



We are currently hiring an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team in Faro, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating plans for various architectural projects. This includes developing initial concepts, creating detailed drawings and models, and collaborating with clients and project teams to ensure successful execution of designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural principles, excellent design skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200/month, without accommodation. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:

- Develop initial concepts and ideas for architectural projects
- Create detailed drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Work closely with project teams to ensure designs are aligned with project goals and timelines
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary information for designs
- Research building codes and regulations to ensure compliance in designs
- Present designs to clients and make necessary revisions based on feedback
- Prepare construction documents including technical drawings, specifications, and material lists
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and materials

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Designer
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and building codes/regulations
- Excellent design skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles
- Strong project management skills
