Registered Dietitian - Nutrition Consultant


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Nutrition Consultant, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to clients, conducting nutrition assessments, and creating personalized dietary plans. You will also collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to promote optimal health and prevent chronic diseases through nutrition education and counseling.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized nutrition assessments and develop personalized dietary plans based on client's health goals, medical history, and lifestyle.
- Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for various conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, weight management, etc.
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to dietary plans as needed.
- Educate clients on proper nutrition, portion control, label reading, and meal planning.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in the field of nutrition.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical or community nutrition.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and counsel clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
