The role of a Computer Support Specialist is to provide technical assistance and support to individuals and organizations in the use of computer hardware, software, and peripherals. This includes troubleshooting issues, setting up new equipment, and maintaining existing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users either in person or remotely
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install and configure new equipment and software
- Maintain computer systems by performing upgrades and updates
- Train users on new technology or software
- Keep records of technical issues and resolutions
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Location: This job is located in the United States.
Salary: The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
Contract: This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.
Preference: Preference will be given to candidates who possess a biometric passport.
