Registered Nurse - Svalbard


We are a healthcare facility in Svalbard seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality patient care and will be willing to adapt to our unique location. This is a full time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and support, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Stay up-to-date on current nursing practices and procedures through continuing education opportunities

Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Previous nursing experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
