Back-End Developer

We are currently hiring a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Atlanta on a contract basis. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your role will involve collaborating with front-end developers, software engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or PHP, as well as experience with databases and web servers. A passion for problem-solving and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable)

Location: Atlanta, United States (Remote work is also possible)

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or PHP
- Experience working with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers (Apache)
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

- Designing and developing efficient server-side code for web applications
- Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues reported by users or testing teams
- Collaborating with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between back-end and front-end components
- Writing clean, reusable code that follows industry standards and best practices
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
