Welder



We are currently hiring a skilled Welder for our construction company in Sheduva. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts together using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the welding requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to specifications
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions using various welding techniques
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control
- Conduct repairs on existing structures or equipment as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Must be physically fit to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects

Preferences:
- Kenyan nationality preferred but not required
- Fluent in English
- Experience working on construction sites
- Ability to work on a team
