We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Porto. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring they maintain their cultural and architectural significance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary repairs and restoration work
- Developing preservation plans and strategies that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee restoration projects from start to finish
- Using specialized techniques and materials to preserve original features and materials of historic buildings
- Conducting research on the history of buildings and structures to inform preservation efforts
- Inspecting completed restoration work to ensure it meets preservation standards
- Providing guidance on maintenance and conservation practices for historic buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Previous experience working on preservation projects, preferably with historic buildings or structures
- In-depth knowledge of architectural history, preservation techniques, and local regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision when handling delicate materials
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with various professionals involved in restoration projects
- Ability to conduct thorough research on the history of buildings and structures

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Porto (no accommodation provided)

Contract Type: Full-time, with possibility for contract renewal
