Preservation Architect - Beer-Sheva, Israel
As a Preservation Architect, you will play a crucial role in preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Beer-Sheva. You will work closely with clients, historians, and construction teams to ensure that these structures are preserved for future generations to appreciate and enjoy. Your attention to detail and knowledge of historical building techniques will be essential in completing these projects successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local laws and regulations
- Collaborate with clients, historians, engineers, and construction teams
- Oversee preservation projects from start to finish
- Monitor progress and ensure quality control
- Provide expert advice on preservation techniques and materials
- Maintain accurate project documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation projects
- Strong knowledge of historical building materials, techniques, and codes
- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other architectural software is preferred
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Beer-Sheva, Israel
