Preservation Architect (Part-Time) - Karachi, Pakistan


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in Karachi. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while adhering to conservation principles. Your work will involve conducting research, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures to determine their significance and current condition
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to conservation principles and regulations
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to oversee restoration projects
- Monitor the progress of restoration projects to ensure they are in line with the preservation plan
- Use specialized techniques and materials to preserve or restore historical features of buildings or structures
- Document the process of restoration for record keeping purposes
- Advise clients on the appropriate preservation methods for their historical properties

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of conservation principles and practices
- Experience working on restoration projects for historical buildings or structures is preferred
- Strong research skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and project management skills

This is a part-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month. We do not provide accommodation but we do offer visa sponsorship for international candidates.
