Architectural Technologist
As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of architectural design and construction. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to create detailed plans and drawings that adhere to building codes and regulations. Your main focus will be on the functional and practical aspects of a building, including materials, structures, and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects to develop design concepts
- Create detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Evaluate site conditions and make recommendations for design modifications
- Research materials and products to determine their suitability for use in projects
- Attend site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Communicate with contractors and engineers to resolve technical issues
- Review project plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field
- 2+ years of experience in architectural technology or a similar role
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Location: This position is based in Porto, Portugal.
Salary: The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
Working Hours: This is a full-time job suitable for men.
