Back-End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our team in Vianden. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers and designers to ensure the smooth integration of the front-end and back-end systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side code for web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Create reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design principles is a plus
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and version control tools (Git)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
