Job Title: Crane Operator

A reputable construction company in Mombasa is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As the Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites.

Main Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, including tower cranes, mobile cranes, and overhead cranes.
- Read and interpret load charts to determine appropriate crane configuration and lifting capacity.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on the crane and document any issues or repairs needed.
- Communicate with site supervisors to determine lifting needs and plan safe crane operations.
- Rig loads for safe lifting and ensure proper attachment to the crane hook.
- Monitor weather conditions and make adjustments accordingly to ensure safe crane operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes in a construction setting.
- Valid certification as a Crane Operator from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of different types of cranes, rigging techniques, load charts, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read construction plans and communicate effectively with site supervisors.
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
