Fitter - Visa Sponsorship (Svalbard)



We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Svalbard. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing machinery and equipment in various industries. The ideal candidate should have experience in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as knowledge of safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Assemble, install, and repair machinery and equipment according to specifications
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Familiarity with technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Good physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Valid visa for working in Svalbard

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
