Radio Technician - Utena, Canada


We are currently hiring a skilled Radio Technician to join our dynamic team in Utena, Canada. This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other communication devices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio equipment according to specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on radio equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with radio equipment
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on radio equipment
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements for radio systems
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in radio technology

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Radio Technician or in a similar role
- Proficient in using tools and test equipment for radio system installation and maintenance
- Familiarity with FCC regulations and guidelines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Electronics or related field
- Experience working with two-way radios
- Knowledge of digital communication protocols such as P25, NXDN, DMR
- Valid driver's license
