Senior Caregiver

A reputable home care agency in Nairobi is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to elderly clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a caregiver, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to elderly clients, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with medication management and ensure all medications are taken as directed
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients according to their dietary needs
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical professionals
- Engage in meaningful activities with clients to stimulate their physical and mental well-being
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and report any issues or incidents to the supervisor
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a caregiver, preferably with elderly clients
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification preferred but not required
