Preservation Architect


We are a leading architectural firm based in Ashdod and we are currently seeking a Preservation Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, as well as a strong understanding of architectural design principles.

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for researching, documenting, and analyzing the history of buildings and structures to determine their significance. You will also work closely with clients to develop preservation plans and oversee the implementation of those plans.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, as you will be collaborating with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and government officials. You should also have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure that preservation projects are completed successfully.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures
- Document findings and assess the significance of the structure
- Develop preservation plans in collaboration with clients
- Oversee the implementation of preservation plans
- Work closely with contractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation projects
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and government officials

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preserving historical buildings or structures
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles
- Excellent communication skills in English (Hebrew an advantage)
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

We offer competitive salary packages starting at 1500$ per month for this contract position. This position is suitable for men who meet the required qualifications. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must have their own visa arrangements.
