IT Manager


We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to oversee our company's information technology operations in Vilnius. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals and ensuring that our systems and infrastructure are running smoothly and efficiently. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of IT professionals
- Oversee the implementation of new technology systems and upgrades
- Monitor network and system performance to ensure optimal functionality
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
- Provide technical support to employees on hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain inventory of hardware, software licenses, and equipment
- Conduct regular audits of systems for security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for their integration into our systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience in an IT management role
- Strong knowledge of network administration, security protocols, and system maintenance
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Experience with project management and budgeting for technology projects
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues quickly
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a multinational company or diverse team environment
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies
- Previous experience implementing biometric passport systems
- Biometric passport preferred but not required

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (open to all nationalities)
