Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As an Indian cuisine specialist, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the menu for our restaurant, ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menu items that reflect authentic Indian flavors and appeal to our target audience
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality
- Train and manage kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
- Collaborate with management to create promotional menus or special event menus
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Experience in managing a kitchen team and working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of food quality
- Relevant culinary degree or certification is preferred
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
