Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist


As a Civil Engineer specializing in Structural Design, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures. You will work closely with architects and construction teams to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Your main responsibilities will include analyzing site conditions, determining the best structural design for each project, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and overseeing construction to ensure compliance with design plans. You will also be responsible for conducting quality control checks and making any necessary adjustments or modifications to design plans.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of engineering principles and concepts as well as experience with structural analysis software. You should also have excellent project management skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in structural design. A professional engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required. Fluency in English is required for this role as well as strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
