Executive Chef in Monte-Carlo, Monaco
We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel and restaurant in the beautiful city of Monte-Carlo, Monaco. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure the highest quality of food is delivered to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and high-quality menus that reflect the local cuisine and meet the needs of our guests
- Oversee food purchasing and inventory management to maintain cost control and quality standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a high level of productivity
- Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate events and special menus
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and international cuisines
- Proficient in creating menus that cater to different dietary restrictions and preferences
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
