Master Body Repair Technician

The Master Body Repair Technician will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition. This role requires a high level of skill and expertise in body repair techniques, as well as knowledge of various types of vehicles and their structural components. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on body repair, and will possess exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicle bodies and assess the extent of repairs needed
- Plan and execute repairs using appropriate techniques, tools, and materials
- Straighten bent frames and panels using hydraulic equipment
- Weld damaged sections or replace them with new parts
- Smooth out dents and imperfections in body panels
- Apply filler material and sand down surfaces to create smooth, even finishes
- Prime, paint, and finish repaired areas to match the rest of the vehicle
- Test repaired vehicles for proper functioning of all systems
- Keep detailed records of work performed on each vehicle

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive body repair preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a body repair technician in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for body repair work
- Knowledge of different types of vehicles and their structural components
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams for repairs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed

This is a full-time position based in Mombasa. Salary for this role is $1400 per month. This position is suitable for men who have a strong passion for automotive body repair work. Accommodation is not provided for this role.
