Pastry Chef
We are hiring a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Lom, offering a competitive salary of 1700$. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats for our customers. Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen
- Extensive knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt them to create new dishes
- Strong time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with other kitchen staff
- Attention to detail in presentation and plating of desserts
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
Responsibilities:
- Create new dessert menus and dishes based on seasonal ingredients
- Prepare various types of pastries, cakes, cookies, etc.
- Decorate desserts using various techniques such as piping, chocolate work, etc.
- Ensure consistent quality by following standardized recipes
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section of the kitchen
- Train new pastry team members on techniques and recipes
- Collaborate with other chefs to coordinate dessert offerings with menu changes
