Pastry Chef
Our 5-star luxury hotel in Lom is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. This position requires an individual who is passionate about creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different pastry techniques and ingredients, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This role also requires excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members.
Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our hotel's restaurants and events
- Develop new menu items based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Ensure all pastries are made to high quality standards and presented beautifully
- Manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Train junior chefs on pastry techniques and recipes
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Adhere to food safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new menu items
- Team player with strong communication skills
