IT Manager in Os, Norway



We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Os, Norway. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our company's information technology infrastructure. This includes implementing and maintaining systems, managing a team of IT professionals, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our network.

As the ideal candidate, you should have strong leadership skills and be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should also have a deep understanding of different technology systems and be able to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology systems within the company
- Manage a team of IT professionals and provide guidance and support when needed
- Ensure the security of our network by implementing necessary protocols and regularly monitoring for potential vulnerabilities
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and make recommendations for new technology or system upgrades
- Develop strategies to improve system efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure that our technology needs align with overall company goals
- Create and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures or emergencies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven track record in managing complex information technology projects
- Strong knowledge of network administration, database management, and system security
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments

Preferred Requirements:
-Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent
-Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
