Junior Architectural Designer



As a Junior Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of architectural projects under the guidance of senior designers. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial, and contribute your creative ideas to the team.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts and present them through sketches, renderings, and 3D models
- Assist in creating detailed construction drawings and specifications
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for project development
- Research materials, building codes and regulations, and other relevant information for project requirements
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and provide input on design solutions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred:

- Previous experience in an architectural firm or related field is an asset but not required
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary starting at 1000$ per month depending on qualifications.
