Experienced Turner for Contract Work in Akron, Ohio

We are seeking an experienced Turner to join our team for a contract job in Akron, Ohio. This is an urgent position and requires previous experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using various turning tools and machines to create precise metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Set up and operate turning machines to cut, shape, and form metal parts
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality of finished products
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions of parts
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed for different materials or specifications
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in operating turning machines and using various tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, etc.
- Strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)
