Turner - Metal Lathe Operator

We are currently hiring a skilled Turner - Metal Lathe Operator to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining metal lathe machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires someone with strong technical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to interpret blueprints and work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Operate metal lathe machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications
- Set up and adjust machine settings, including cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Turner or Metal Lathe Operator
- Proficient in operating manual and CNC metal lathe machines
- Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina and dexterity for standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred

Salary: $1100 per month (with potential for bonuses)
